Malvern Hill

Malvern Hill is a renovation of a federation era house within a Heritage Conservation Area in Sydney. The project involved restoration and minor changes to the existing dwelling with a contemporary addition at the rear. The main part of this extension is a gable-roofed space that contains the Kitchen, Living and Dining Rooms and has with generous views across the rear garden and pool.

The addition matches the existing house in height and scale and uses similar materials, playfully reinterpreting details to suit the contemporary form.
