Mono House
A restrained palette and spare aesthetic makes this renovation appear deceptively simple. Internally a monochromatic palette of materials – terrazzo, steel and black stained timber – extends throughout and this is contrasted externally by a continuation of the existing warm terracotta toned brick walls.
Inside a graphic lightweight steel and timber staircase is suspended from the first floor and this is echoed in a concrete stair that is keyed into the brick walls leading from the garden to the outdoor living space.
